The facility features a 15-bed department with advanced surgical capabilities and a collaborative team environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

**Job Details:**
• Daily coverage from 6am-6pm with end time varying based on patient needs
• Weekend coverage on a 1:3 rotation
• Round with cardiovascular/thoracic surgeons and assist with patient management
• Perform vein harvesting procedures when needed
• First assist in operating room as required
• Opportunity to perform procedures based on skillset (A-line, central line, thoracentesis, and chest tube placement)
• Evaluate new consults as needed
• Weekend responsibilities include daily rounding with surgeon
• CT surgeon takes all first calls (nights/weekends), with APP fielding some patient care pages during day hours
• After completing rounds/orders/notes on weekends, provider may leave the hospital (in-house call not required)
• May be called back for emergencies or additional patient assistance
• Patient volume varies per shift
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 1-3 months

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
